You can qualify for each tier by making Premier Qualifying Flights and earning Premier Qualifying Points. To achieve Premier Silver Status you need to have made at least 12 Premier Qualifying Flights and earned 4,000 Premier Qualifying Points. You can also reach Silver status by earning 5,000 Premier Qualifying Points. The higher the level, the more points and flights you need.

As a Premier Silver status member you are eligible for complimentary upgrades, extra baggage allowance and 7x miles on all flights. When you become a Gold member you get two extra checked bags for free, Star Alliance Gold status and 8x miles on all flights, and as a Platinum member you can enjoy two regional upgrades, and access to Economy Plus for you and eight travel companions. Once you're a Premier 1K member you earn 11x miles on all flights you take, you get priority boarding, free drinks and snacks onboard and six global premier upgrades.
